1" thick 100% Merino Wool Sheepskin Cinch Ring Protectors, Protect your horse’s side from the hard and sometimes sharp cinch ring. Slips on with elastic strap. One Size. Sold as a pair!
All Shear Comfort Sheep Skin Products are made of 100% merino wool. You may notice a soft cotton like backing on your product that covers the leather hide of the sheep skin. this is for extra protection put on by the manufacturer as an added barrier between the leather hide and your tack.

These allow me to use a mohair girth that has leather buckle guards that are sooooo STIFF.

These do a great job. I stitched them to the buckles of my two-buckle girth  (used on a Specialized Ultralight), and they do a great job of preventing rubs.

BUT.

I have a gray horse, and I got the black protectors (I think it was all that was in stock at the time). After a couple of hot, sweaty rides, she's now permanently stained blueish-black where the buckle protectors are! I'm replacing them with the natural ones, and waiting impatiently for the hair to shed out.
